Helen Malenda-Lawrence is a Staff Hydrogeologist II in the Denver Office. Helen is by nature and training a field scientist and has experience in geologic mapping, hydrologic field study design, field data collection and analysis, and applied statistics. She holds an M.S. in Hydrologic Sciences and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (2018), an M.S. in Earth and Environmental Studies from Lehigh University (2015), and a B.S. in Geology from Kutztown University (2011). Before joining the LRE Water team, Helen worked as a hydrogeologist the U.S. Geological Survey and the Colorado Division of Water Resources. In her free time, Helen enjoys gardening, painting, and exploring the west with her partner and pup.
